I'm Asking This For My Daughter-in-law Because She Asked Me

I'm asking this for my daughter-in-law because she asked me to. She suffers from seasonal depression/anxiety and she has been having a hard time for a couple months now. A Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in psychiatric illness put her on Lexapro 40mg daily, Lorazapam .5 mg as needed (she is taking it TID), Trazadone (I think 50 mg) and amitriptyline 20 mg. She is having a hard time even functioning and I'm wondering if it is all the meds she is on are interacting with each other. Since her mood isn't stabilizing, the NP wants to stop the amitriptyline and put her on a small amount of Risperal instead. I'm afraid of all the possible side effects from Risperdal, some of which are not reversible. Is this combination of drugs safe and how dangerous is Risperadal to take? She is not psychotic but she has suffered from severe depression and anxiety for several years now particularly in the winter months.
