I'm Concerned About About 4-5 Dark Brown/black Moles That Have

I'm concerned about about 4-5 dark brown/black moles that have suddenly popped up over a few months on my pubic area and near vagina opening and inner thigh /buttocks area. I do have herpes but it's not active for years. The bumps itch and that's how I found them. What is it? What causes it? Can I treat it? I have seen both a demagogic and gyn Dr that don't seem concerned. Something is not right about these bumps. Thanks for help
