I'm Concerned About Taking Imuran. My Inflammation Markers Are Extremly

I'm concerned about taking Imuran. My inflammation markers are Extremly high. I was on Methatrexate, but it wasn't helping. I was also on 20mg of prednisone which also was not making a difference. My Dr does not know where the inflamation is. He just prescribed the Imuran and I'm afraid to take it due to side affects, but I'm taking it anyway. Is there anyway to pin point where inflammation is and is there something else I can take other than steroids or Imuran
