I'm Currently On The Deposited Shot As It's The Only

I'm currently on the deposited shot as it's the only thing that works for me. I have had it in and off for years and never ever had a bleed, but this time after my third shot I'm bleeding, why am I starting to get symptoms, ? Is it not affective anymore?
