I'm Experiencing Chronic Symptoms Of Bacterial Vaginosis. My Obgyn Keep

I'm experiencing chronic symptoms of bacterial vaginosis. My obgyn keep prescribing me metronidazole gel that only cure the smell. They recently told me to insert the gel for 10 days and still no difference. I'm starting to think i'm immune to it and scared it will effect me to not have kids later on in life. I once took the pills for it but i didn't like it so i stop using it. Is there any medicine that you recommend?
