I'm Experiencing Extremely Heavy Bleeding Soaking Through At Least Five

I'm experiencing extremely heavy bleeding soaking through at least five pads an hour not to mention with clots and stomach cramps I went to the er a few days ago which they advised me to take birth control pills which I did although I told them I was no longer happy with the birth control but assured me it would stop the bleeding so after three days of taking the birth control the blood stopped so I discontinued it now I'm back to soaking through pads I need help
