I'm Getting A HIDA Scan Done But Them Few Minutes

I'm getting a HIDA scan done but them few minutes before getting it done, I was told I can not be around my kids for 48hrs by the DR. I asked the place I'm getting the scan done at and said that I can be around them????? I just want to make sure so it doesn't affect them in the long run.
