Im Getting Over A Cold And Cough But Over The

Im getting over a cold and cough but over the past few days the cough has gotten to the point where its dry and unproductive and I can cough so violently that I want to pass out and there is a sharp pain behind my right eye. Is there anything to kill the coughing? It really has overstayed its welcome. The pain is almost like a brain freeze behind the eyes and the headacxhe it leaves is horrendous!
