I’m going to give you the quick rundown on Jax…..our dog, he is 12 years old
We went on a family trip we have been planning for 4 years now Oct. 7-17, Jax stayed with my brother in law, Jax has never been away from the family for more than 2 days, we got a call when on our trip that Jax started chewing on the end of his tail and had chewed all the hair off and it was bleeding lots, my brother in law cleaned him all up and put the cone on him till we got home, we thought it was just a behavioral thing due to us being gone so long and him missing us.
Now that a month has gone by since we have been back, Jax is still chewing on his tail and now we have noticed a huge bump near were the tail and hind end are, his tail is now straight down and seems limp.
Jax is still eating and drinking lots but then returns to his bed.
We would like to get your opinion on this issue but don’t have a lot of money due to the economy and losing jobs and such, we just need a honest opinion of what this may be.
