I'm Having Chills After Being Diagnosed With A Foot Sprain

I'm having chills after being diagnosed with a foot sprain from an accident yesterday. Any advice or do you know why I may be having chills? An X-ray was done yesterday that showed nothing but today I had increased swelling and went back to the doctor and they are ordering an MRI and want me to come back Monday. But this evening I started getting chills.
