I'm Having My Period For The Third Time This Month,

I'm having my period for the third time this month, tampons cause too much discomfort and swelling so I stopped putting them in. I'm also on birth control but I've been on it for about six months now and never had this problem, it started out with normal periods but I've been starting to bleed every few weeks now. Im also experiencing tightening in my lower back and pain.
