I'm Having Pain That Started 6 Weeks Ago In My

I'm having pain that started 6 weeks ago in my left wrist. Since then the pain has moved to my elbow, bicept and shoulder. The identical pain has moved into my right wrist, elbow, bicept and shoulder. In addition my left hand, from my wrist to my fingers where they connect to my hand are swollen 24 hours a day for the last month. It will not go down, and I can't make a fist. I've been to an orthapedic surgeon. He has xrayed my left wrist (nothing broken). He has now suggested I go to a rheumatologist, but they can't see me till Feb. Of next year. I hurt all the time and only been prescribed an anti-inflamatory which doesn't stop my pain. Any ideas?
