I"m Having Sharp Pain In My Side Now Mostly On

I"m having sharp pain in my side now mostly on my right? To begin with it, was my left and right side hurting radiating to my middle of my abdominal area and moving to my back? Not really any other symptoms have I noticed yet? The pain radiates from right to like ribs. I'm curious if it is diverticulitis, from having pecans in a cookie earlier? My mom and dad both have that. Can you help me? Please?
