I'm just wondering how many stitches are involved in a vaginal hysterectomy. My uterus and tubes were removed. Ovaries left in. Do the ovaries need to be attached to something else. My lower back was killing. Doctor said the ligaments attached to my uterus are now attached to my vagina? It's been 9 days. The last 2 have been the worst for pain.
