I'm Kidney Transplant. For The Past Couple Of Weeks, My

I'm kidney transplant. For the past couple of weeks, my bp has been very high, especially the past 10 days. Average readings are 189/111, 175/115, etc. I have moved to a rural area, and don't have a transplant doc, but a regular nephrologist. I called early last week & he said to come in on January 13. A week ago today I went to the ER bc I had the worst headache of my life, plus the high bp. I was given morphine for pain & sent home. I saw my hematologist Dec 21 and my creatinine was 1.3. Last week in the ER it was 1.9! I'm scared to death that my kidney will be destroyed in this process. When I lived in AZ, my transplant doc would've been highly concerned and would've either called me in to her office or had me meet her at the hospital. There is only one nephrology practice in my state. Is it reasonable of me to ask to see a transplant doc? It would mean an hours drive, but I don't care about that. Am I overreacting?
