I'm On 30 Mg Of Amitriptyline,and Have Gained 30 Lbs

I'm on 30 mg of Amitriptyline,and have gained 30 lbs . I'm on it for preventative for chronic migraines. I'm only 5'1 ,@nd really can't stand the weight gain. I also take magnesium supplement,and my.Dr. Just says to up it and that will help. No matter what I eat ,or if I exercise the weight dsnt come off. Thinking of stopping it. Is there any suggestions of losing weight while on this med?
