Im Prescribed Orsythia Birth Control Pill By My Doctor Today

Im prescribed Orsythia birth control pill by my doctor today (tuesday). He might have forgotten to mentiom how to take it. I called the clinic and spoke to a nurse. She said i need to take the 1st pill (with a Sunday mark) week 1 on the pack. Ive asked 2 of my friends who are bc pill users and said i need to take the tuesday pill since today is tues and disregard the sunday and monday pill. So i just need to make sure which is the correct way to take the pill. Thanks for the help.
