I'm Really In The Need For Some Professional Advice. I

I'm really in the need for some professional advice.
I had corrective surgery on my back for scoliosis back in 2011 when I was 14. I have 2 rods in my back along with 20 or so screws (I can't remember exactly). The surgery went fine and I didn't really have any complications. I experience chronic back pain but it's manageable for the most part. My problem though is that at night a lot of the time I can't seem to get to sleep or stay asleep. I constantly experience a very uncomfortable sensation in the middle region of my back. It's not very painful but it is persistent and my back also feels fairly stiff. It also feels like there's a slight pressure on my back. I find it hard to lay comfortably on my sides or my stomach any more because when I do the feeling in my back intensifies. I usually have to sleep on my back to lessen the sensation. Even then it's hard to get to sleep most of the time. I've felt around my back with my hands and nothing feels out of the norm. What do you think the problem could be? What is possibly causing it? And should I see a doctor?
