I'm Reviewing Med List For A Friend. I Have Current

I'm reviewing med list for a friend. I have current med list but no diagnosis with them. My question is, "What sound reasons might lovastatin 40mg po qd be given when also taking atorvastatin calcium 80 mg po qd. i've just recently begun to assist her and am still reviewing hx of multiple conditions. She definitely is polypharmacy. I'm so sorry. I didn't realize there was a cost. I'll check with pharmacists in my area.
