I'm Scheduled For An Endoscopy In Two Days And Cannot

I'm scheduled for an endoscopy in two days and cannot take an NSAID. This morning I woke up with terrible nerve pain in my back requiring valium 10 mg every 6 hours. I've had this before and I should be okay by Wednesday, but I've always taken ibuprofen with it. Is there something else I can do to reduce swelling (besides ice) to replace the ibuprofen. Would Ultram help?
