I'm scheduled for surgery Wednesday fora bone spur on my heel that had caused my Achilles tendon to become a big lump. I have to decide how I'm going to cope for the recuperation period. The podiatrist suggested an external fixator. Otherwise I guess it will be a combination of wheelchair and one of those scooter-like things you kneel on. I'm looking for help choosing.
