I'm Taking 2 50mg Xr Seroquel And 25mg Quetiapine At

I'm taking 2 50mg xr Seroquel and 25mg Quetiapine at bedtime. A nurse put me on this 9yrs ago for my pain and to help me sleep not for bi-polar or depression. At one time I was on 200mg xr and then went to 150mg and now this dose. Its time to come off this as I will be having a fusion on my back and just so tired of this horrible crap. Should I come down 12.5mg for a month at a time then till I'm done? I know it should be very slowly and not fast. I don't care how long it takes as I'm afraid of bad with drawl from reading other peoples posts.
