I'm Taking A New Medication (to Me) Hydrochlorothiazide....today I'm Have

I'm taking a new medication (to me) hydrochlorothiazide....today I'm have bad stomach pains...come in waves almost. Dull but very painful . I have soft bowls, pretty often . Not much in quantity just frequency. I see a side effect IS stomach aches until you acclimate to the meds. Is this sick stomach to be expected? (of course it's Saturday, so I can't reach my doctor
