I'm Taking Cyclobenzeprine For Muscle Pain From Abdominal And Pleural

I'm taking cyclobenzeprine for muscle pain from abdominal and pleural drains. 10mg am - 10 mg pm. I felt that it wasn't working terrifically so the PA had me stop taking it (which did cause the pain to increase) for 5 days so that I could try baclofen 10 mg to see if that is more affective. Well ... it is day 4 ad the pain has increased each day so (as recommended by the PA) I am going to start taking it again. So would baclofen have been more affective if I could have reached the 5 day mark or is it helpful to some and not others? Do you know of something that might better? I've been taking it for over a year.
