I'm Trying To Find A Connection Between A Sinus Drain

I'm trying to find a connection between a sinus drain surgery in had many years ago ( to relieve a severely swollen eye - acute bacterial sinus infection from stagnant small swimming pool water) and present constant post nasal drip. The surgery was performed in 1967 and was pretty barbaric - no sedation - and I'm wondering if there's some residual septal deformity causing my sinus problems.
