I'm Wondering If I Should Be Concerned. I Was Diagnosed

I'm wondering if I should be concerned. I was diagnosed with bruised ribs two days ago but the pain has been getting worse and spreading throughout the left side of my abdomen and into my back. When I was injured it felt like a tearing, stabbing under my ribs and now it's a burning pain that has worked its way down to belly button level. I've been nauseous but I tend to be nauseous when I feel like there's something wrong with my body so I'm not sure that qualifies. Thank you for your help.
