Imy Son Age 12 Has A High Temperature, Sore Throat

Imy son age 12 has a high temperature, sore throat and dizzy and tired, our doctor gave us prescription for pecicillin, to get tomorrow if no improvement, I have had surgery, chemo and radiotherapy over last six monthe for breast cancer, just started tamoxofen, am I ok to be around him, with my immune system low or should I be ok now
