In September of 2015 I was stung multiple times by bees. In the emergency room I was given epinephrine three times and later admitted to ICU due to unstable blood pressure, etc. at this time I was takiing Synthroid for hyperthyroidism ( I have been taking this medication for 35 years) and Avalide for hypertension. In January I had my yearly physical and routine blood test to check my thyroid. At that time my results came back that I was taking too much Synthroid so the doctor lowered my dosage and in 6 weeks another test was done and it too came back high so my dose was lowered again. My latest test came back high so the dosage has been lowered again. About the same time on January I started having leg pain in my lower leg. I went to an orthopedic doctor and he could find nothing to cause my pain. The pain ( now n both legs) increased so I returned to my general practitioner . She ordered many blood tests and determined I was Vitamn D deficient and tested positive for autoimmune disease. I have an appointment with a rheumatologist but can not get in until June 29. It is not my joints that ache or my muscles. I can not make my leg hurt more it I stretch my muscles or if I move my joints. It is a constant nagging pain in my legs that feels to me like bone pain. Question....can the thyroid test and autoimmune test be skewed by the large does of epinephrine I received in September? What would make my thyroid test all of a sudden not to be within normal range after being okay for so many years?
