In Its Not A Health Question ! Its My Wife's

In its not a health question ! Its my wife's daughtrr who is not married but has lived with a man and have a chiled the daughters mother and grand daughter are in charge of all decisions being made for what the doctors need to have done ! OK the daughter had two stokes and to heart attacks when her live in boy friend took her to the hospital he thinks he is going to be the care taker of her when she comes out of thearapy the mother and grand daughter says no ! The daughter that is sick can't keep a job he is lazy they lived with his mother in a 1 bed room house for years and a feel sorry for the son he is way overweight and only 9 this live in boy friend isn't able to take or give the care she needs when she is healthy enough to go home what should I do to make sure she gets the home care she needs do we need a lawyer ?
