In The Last Few Days I Noticed That My Right

In the last few days I noticed that my right eye is red in a certain location. I used visine a few times and it cleared up but it seems to come back again late in the day. I don't have any blurred vision but I am diabetic. Should I be concerned. I made an appointment with the eye doctor.
