In The Last Two Hours I Have Noticed A Sharp

In the last two hours I have noticed a sharp pain on my left side above my hip bone and extending toward the middle of my stomach. I also noticed that it is quite swollen compared to my right side. I havent noticed any pain or swelling all day until recently. I was born with kidney stones but have never felt pain here before. Do you know what it could possibly be?
