In the mid '70s I lived in northern Nigeria and became very ill. I was diagnosed with a combination of Typhoid and Malaria. I know that malaria can reoccur because it did about 20 years later when I was working as a research biologist on a shrimp farm in Costa Rica. What about Typhoid? Can it reoccur?
