In The Past I Used To Take Contac Cold Tablets

In the past I used to take Contac cold tablets immediately when my nose started running (the first indication that I was getting a cold). My head would always dry up immediately, and I hardly ever came down with a full blown cold. I understand that Contact was forced to change the formula for their cold tablets... and I'm sure this is true, because Contact no longer performs as it did. In the past few years since this happened I've tried different cold medications and have never found one that works the way Contact used to work. Can you recommend ANYTHING that will stop my nose from running continually?
