In The Past Couple Weeks I Have Had Flu Like

In the past couple weeks I have had flu like symptoms ( cough non productive , sore throat, laryngitis) which resolved within 2 weeks , however , the cough has returned moderately with in at times not being able to get a full tidal volume of breath which distressed me a little. I went to physician, lungs were clear, chest xray unremarkable and overall assessment was good however she prescribed Albuterol inhaler to use as needed. I have had trouble getting a good nights rest over the past 3-4 days. My question is that is there a concern of an interaction if I take Ambien to help me sleep. Thank you
