In The Past Week I've Had Two Episodes Of Severe

In the past week I've had two episodes of severe upper abdominal pain. The pain came on over the course of about ten minutes, then was severe for about a half hour, then tapered off quickly and was gone. I already had similar symptoms years ago and it was a non functioning gallbladder, which was removed, so obviously that's not it. Any ideas of what it could be?
