In The Year 2000 I Had An Air Rifle Discharge

In the year 2000 I had an air rifle discharge a lead pellet into my right hand and breaking the bone. The pellet is still still there with the bone healing around it. Exactly 2 years later I started to develop vitiligo on my right wrist. Could this be a connection and what are the long term health affects will I have by having a lead object in my bone?
