Irritation Near The Outer Corner Of My Right Eye, No

Irritation near the outer corner of my right eye, no external symptoms. I'm not sure if it's on the eyeball or the eyelid. If I look to the extreme right the irritation seems to move even further to the right corner. The ophthalmologist can find no cause, this has persisted for over a year
