Is Azithromycin Safe For Red Cervix?

Hello. I went to planned parenthood to get a check up bc I do not have insurance. A PA did my papsmear and said my cervix was very red. I do not have STDs. I have never had children. I am pretty healthy. She gave me Azithromycin (4 pills to take in one day). I do not like anti-biotics. Am I putting my health at risk if I don't take them? Can I wait it out, or do I need to take them now?
