Is BX Antitoxin Treatment Advisable For Mass Around The Pulmonary Artery?

they just found a very large mass in my mothers lung wrapping around the pulmonary artery, with a few lesions on the liver.. has not had bx done yet.. is it even worth putting her through the bx., since it has already spreading and she has severe copd?
