Is Bontress Or Androanagen Advisable For Baldness At Temple?

I am 23 year old suffereing from male pattern baldness on temple areas and have been taking finasteride 1 mg for about 6 months now along with application of Bontress Solution and logic hair tablets. Now my dr has suggested me to change to Androanagen solution instead of bontress as i am getting small dots like acne without any mucus on the region where I apply bontress. I have 2 questions:- 1) Does finasteride have side effects in long run ? 2) Which solution is better bontress or Androanagen ?
