Is Cefuroxime Intake Safe During Pregnancy?

hi im 9 weeks pregnant and i have URTI doctor advice me to take cefuroxime 500mg 2x a day... is it safe to take this medicine when im on my 1st trimester? i hope u can help because i want to have a peace of mind before taking in this medicine. Thank you
