Is Creston Statin Advisable For Person With Enzyme Deficiency?

I am homozygous for c677t with a homocysteine level of 9.0. Advances lipid panel revealed Lp-PLA of 214 & doc suggested crestor 5mg QD with Co Q10 200mg. Is it ok to take this statin with my enzyme deficiency? My HDL-C was 96 triglycerides 65 non HDL-C 125. Thank you for your thoughts.
