Is D&C Right Procedure For Endometris Being 11mm, Fibroids And Bulky Uterus?

my endometris was 12mm one month ago,i started taking some herbal medicine went for another sonography today and it has gone down to 11mm. I have fibroids too and my uterus is bulky. my doctor is telling me to have D and C i hope i have it right. Please help
