Is Dimeatapp The Right Medicine For Cold In Children?

I asked a pharmacist at CVS about my daughter she s 3 years old and has the sniffles he told me to give dimeatapp he said to give her half a dose of a 6 year old which would be 5 ml but I gave her A little under the 10 ml line. Should I be concerned about ?
