Is Doxycycline Monohydrate Same As Doxycycline Hydrate?

i have dry eye, where my lids are no longer producing the oils needed. I take fish oil daily but dr has also prescribed doxycycline hydrate...very expense but doxycycline monohydrate is significately cheaper. sorry for the spelling errors. I only take 50mg but take all year long. would they be the same or similiar for my condition?
