Is Ecosprin 75 Harmful To Take?

in Oct 2010 i went for TMT and report is negative. I'm taking BP medicine METOCARD XL 25. BP is normal. No diabetic. Have family history of Heart. Can I take Ecosprin 75 ? Is it harmful ? What are the benefits ? I'm sufferring from pain in the chest for the last 10 years. Dr's telling it is a muscle pain. Pls advise
