Is Gardenal A Steroid?

hello doc Please advise if Gardenal is a steroid or not and if it results in the weight gain. I have the problem of epilepsy since past 10 yrs . I am taking Lamitor OD 100 mg twice a day along with Gardenal once a day . Please advise how long should it be continued ?
