Is HRT Required In Hysterectomy With Psychological Issues?

My wife is 42 years old and had complete hysterectomy 5 years back. Now she shows minimum patience in her family life. She is superstitious from childhood. That quality has doubled. Is there any need of HRT? Though I heard there are many after effects of HRT e.g. Breast Cancer etc. My son and myself are sufferer. My son advises me to treat her by one Psychiatrist. What should I do?
