Is ICL Surgery Safe?

Hello doctor. I have thick glasses using since 9 years.Now I am 23 years old.i just wanted to get rid of this spects. So I took a step for taking lasik .but my doctor after checking the reports advised me that lasik is not suitable for my eyes and also it may damage my cornea if I go for it. He advised me to go for an alternative of lasik ICL surgery. . I want to know is this surgery safe? Are Their any Possible Risks May Occur If I Go For It. ?
