Is Januvia Safe While Having Asthma And Stage-3 Kidney Disease?

Hi, I ve been diabetic for about 20 years and in the last 8 years started Lantus insulin added to my glipizide 10 mg twice daily. I m now going to drop glipizide and start Jenuvia, which scares me after reading all the bad affects. I do have respiratory problems (asthma), and stage 3 kidney disease. What s my risk factors in starting this new treatment? I also have several other health issues: gout, ulcer, and thyroidism.
